The most-often asked question in the gallery?
“Where’s a good place to get lunch?”
If I had a nickle for every recommendation we make…
Coins aside, we do love to make recommendations for our favorite places in Historic Park City, and will continue to do so for our guests. Just consider Gallery MAR your go-to concierge. Below, I have listed a few of our favorite spots for shopping, dining, activities and nightlife. As our parking garage just increased its time limit to 6 hours, there is no excuse to not try them all.
Favorite lunch spots: Cafe Terigo (when you want to have a glass of wine) and Back Door Deli (when you’re in need of a quick fix).
Best romantic date: Riverhorse Cafe (with live music every night) or Chimayo (their dipping sauce is to die-for and they have the best margaritas in town).
Family night out: 501 Main (American Bistro) has something for everyone and Vinto Italian on Lower Main will feed everyone for chump change.
Homegoods and gifts: Root’d has beautiful pillows and candles, but also offers design service and custom furniture orders.
Clothing: Mary Janes, Flight, Prospect, and Cake are the best of the best with great deals to be found. Panache offers high-end lines with excellent customer service.
Coffee and/or tea: Atticus Tea House sells the regulars, as well as used books. Currently digging their Blended Dirty Chai as an afternoon pick-me-up.
Souvenir: Mountain Town Olive Oil for oils and vinegars, plus local meats and cheeses, spices, and gifts. All wrapped up in a Park City gift basket.
Top activity spot: The Kimball Art Center, where you can get lost in an exhibition or attend a class — at any age. Kids will love the Park City Museum.
