Graduating cum laude from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art was Jamie Burnes’ illustrious start in the art world. Since his graduation, Burnes has earned a long list of shows, exhibitions, collections and awards, as well as appearing in numerous publications in his field. His inventive and curious personality is reflected in his choice to portray natural wildlife in wild combinations. Burnes easily wields items such as CorTen steel, cedar wood, rocks, wires, and other durable material to construct forms of grace and beauty.
